COST OF THE CRUISE:
The cost for the five day cruise has been reduced by $70 to just $478 per person, double occupancy.
During the cruise, $10 per day is automatically added to your account to tip the hard-working staff. You can adjust this amount if you like during the cruise.
The daily fuel supplement has been eliminated and will not be charged unless fuel gets back up to $70+ a barrel. Currently, it is in the mid-30's.
If anyone wants to book a 3rd or 4th person in their stateroom, let me know and I will get the exact fare for them. 3rd and 4th passengers pay considerably less than the 1st and 2nd.
DEPOSITS AND DUE DATES:
A deposit of $200.00 is due by April 17th. If you already paid a $25.00 deposit, you owe $175 instead of $200. Final payment of the balance owed is due June 16th.
NOTE: The deposits are 100% refundable until final payment is due.
ABOUT THE CARNIVAL INSPIRATION:
The Inspiration is one of Carnival's "Fantasy class" ships, all of which have undergone or will be undergoing a complete renovation. New features include a water park, miniature golf course, and lots of other fun stuff. The Inspiration has already had her facelift, and you can see pictures of her by clicking here.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
You need a passport to cruise outside of the U.S. If you don't have a passport, you should apply for one sooner rather than later, as it can takes months to get one.
THINGS TO DO IN GRAND CAYMAN & COZUMEL:
There are lots of things to do in these ports. "Shore excursions" can be arranged through the cruise line or on our own.
In Cozumel you can take an all-day trip to see the ruins at Tulum, which is very cool! (Dan and I went there when we were in Cancun for our honeymoon.) We can also take a shuttle to a resort where we can hang out on the beach all day at no charge as long as we eat and drink. I have seen the menu and even though it is in Mexico, those of us with typical HAND food tastes will be able to eat lunch there with no problems. :)
Grand Cayman is one of the best places in the world for snorkeling and diving, and the beaches are gorgeous.
